Resumo

O presente artigo teve como objetivo elucidar a temática ambiental, bem como analisar o construto do “habitus socioambiental” a partir do conceito de habitus. Para tanto, o trabalho apresentou em seu desenvolvimento teórico discussões sobre habitus e “habitus socioambiental”, seguido ainda do discurso entre educação ambiental e ecopedagogia. Para tanto, se considerou que as discussões que circundam a temática ambiental ainda têm sido difundidas de forma embrionária, isto é, pouco se consegue avançar em ações que de fato possam mobilizar a sociedade. O trabalho é pautado ainda pelos seguintes questionamentos: Ao se pensar no contexto de habitus no cenário ambiental, seria possível a construção de um agente capaz de reinventar novos habitus frente à miríade de descasos ambientais? Ou ainda, é possível afirmar que existe no homem um “habitus socioambiental”? Assim, no que diz respeito a noção de “habitus socioambiental”, por meio desse ensaio teórico foi possível observar que essa termologia já está ancorada em conceitos discutidos na sociologia. Ademais, concernente às práticas ecopedagógicas e de educação ambiental na contemporaneidade, essas correspondem a um instrumento válido na busca pelo imenso desafio em que consiste a conscientização da dimensão ambiental no nível societário. Cabe ainda salientar que as discussões que circundam este trabalho talvez não tenham contemplado uma reflexão mais profunda sobre a temática abordada, para tanto, se sugere a ampliação deste ensaio teórico para um estudo teórico/empírico, capaz de caracterizar com mais precisão as abordagens propostas através de um campo de pesquisa específico.

The present paper aimed to elucidate the environmental thematic, as well as analyze the construct of the “socio-environmental habitus” considering the concept of habitus. For this purpose, the paper has presented in its theoretical development discussions about habitus and “socio-environmental habitus”, followed by the discourse between environmental education and ecopedagogy. Therefore, it was considered that discussions around the environmental thematic still are disseminated in an embryonic way, taking into account the low advance towards actions that could in fact mobilize society. The paper is also grounded by the following questions: Thinking the context of habitus in the environmental scenario, would it be possible to build an agent capable of reinventing new habitus facing the myriad of environmental neglects? Or still, is it possible to affirm that in man there is a “socio-environmental habitus”? Thus, regarding to the idea of “socio-environmental habitus”, through this theoretical essay, it was possible to observe that this terminology is already anchored in concepts discussed in sociology. Moreover, concerning to the ecopedagogic and environmental education’s exercises in contemporaneity, these correspond to a valid instrument in the search for the massive challenge that is awareness of environmental dimension in the societal level. It should furthermore be emphasized that discussions brought in this paper may not have been contemplated in a deeper reflection about the approached thematic, for such case, it is suggested the expansion of this theoretical essay to an empirical/theoretical study, capable of characterizing with more accuracy the approaches proposed through a specific research field.
