Reumo

The essay purpose is to describe how (BMI) proposition in the seminal six key issues contributes to the process of innovation and sociotechnical transformation, emphasizing implementation and evaluation of these new additions through the lenses of the Theory of Technical Transition (TTT), including its operationalization by Multi-Level Perspective (MLP) composed by three main heuristics: niche-innovations, sociotechnical regimes, and socio-technical landscape. The MLP anticipates that aligning these 3 levels when combined allows for radical innovations, coopering with the mainstream. The results show the interdependence relationships between the constructs that compose it: value creation, value proposition, value delivery, value capture and value network, initial and maturity, in this sense TTT enables the MLP that maintains with great dexterity and ease strategic decisions tactics and practices – necessary for successful BMI. This study becomes useful, especially considering the context of the health crisis originated by COVID-19, which requires new and urgent solutions through innovation by new business models.
